Availability of modern equipment and well-maintained infrastructure is essential for creating a conducive environment for teaching, learning, and research. To achieve this, Ram Lal College, Purnia has adopted a comprehensive Maintenance Policy to ensure effective upkeep, handling, and management of its amenities and resources.
- The Principal supervises and monitors all maintenance activities.
- Repair or maintenance needs are reported to the Principal via written request or email.
- The Principal convenes meetings as necessary for repair and maintenance decisions.
- Non-teaching staff are assigned specific maintenance tasks by the Principal.
- External experts or agencies are engaged through orders or AMC when required.
- IT and digital infrastructure are maintained via service providers or AMC.
- The Librarian and staff oversee library upkeep with periodic fumigation and pest control.
- The Sports Committee maintains sports infrastructure and equipment.
- Generators, purifiers, pumps, and electrical equipment are maintained by agencies or AMC.
- The playground is maintained by external agencies.
- Annual stock verification is conducted by the Stock Verification Committee.
- Usable items are repaired and maintained; non-functional items are disposed of properly.
