Code of Conduct
For the Principal
- The Principal shall establish policies and strategies to realize the college’s vision and mission.
- The Principal shall ensure fairness in all procedures concerning teachers, non-teaching staff, and students.
- The Principal shall inspire employees and students to achieve their full potential.
- The Principal shall ensure awareness of all college rules, regulations, and procedures among staff and students.
- The Principal shall oversee corrective measures based on stakeholders’ feedback.
- The Principal shall communicate and make recommendations to the Governing Body.
- The Principal shall ensure qualitative and quantitative growth for the institution’s welfare.
- The Principal shall respect student ideas and create a supportive environment.
For Teachers
- Teachers shall follow the Acts, Statutes, Ordinances, and Service Regulations of Purnea University.
- Teachers shall uphold professional ethics with care and responsibility.
- Teachers shall not act in ways that disrupt teaching, learning, examinations, or research.
- Teachers shall not damage or misuse college property and shall respect institutional rules.
- Teachers shall fulfil duties in alignment with the college’s vision and mission.
- Teachers shall conduct themselves with integrity, honesty, and professional ethics.
- Teachers shall maintain a respectful, value-based approach that benefits students and society.
For Non-Teaching Staff
- Non-teaching staff shall report to duty on or before 10:30 A.M.
- They shall follow instructions of the competent authority sincerely.
- Prior approval from the Principal is required before availing leave.
- No staff may leave the campus before 5:00 P.M. without the Principal’s permission.
- The Geography Lab in-charge shall maintain equipment, keep the lab clean, and assist during practicals.
- Non-teaching staff shall refrain from using social media during working hours.
- Staff shall demonstrate self-control, discipline, and positive interaction with colleagues, students, and the public.
- Honesty, fairness, and integrity must guide all their activities.
For Students
- Students shall maintain proper discipline and good conduct at all times.
- The library and common spaces are monitored through CCTV; students must observe discipline.
- Students shall safeguard college property and maintain cleanliness of classrooms, playgrounds, and common rooms.
- Students may report grievances to the Principal or staff at any time.
- Participation in external games and events requires prior approval of the Principal
- Students shall consult the notice board or website for official information before approaching the office.
- Students are prohibited from political activities within the college campus.
