About The Department
The Department of Political Science at Ram Lal College is dedicated to fostering a comprehensive understanding of political ideas, institutions, governance, and international relations. The department equips students with analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate political systems, policies, and global issues.
The curriculum includes courses on political theory, Indian government and politics, comparative politics, public administration, international relations, and contemporary global issues. Alongside classroom teaching, the department organizes debates, seminars, workshops, and study tours to provide practical exposure and deepen students’ understanding of political processes.
With guidance from experienced faculty, the department prepares students for higher studies, research, competitive examinations, and careers in academics, civil services, law, media, and policy-making.
